Reporting to the Country Manager and leading a team of four, you will drive sales volume, revenue, and gross margin while partnering closely with planning, logistics, and after-sales to deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience.

What you will do

•  Lead, coach, and motivate a team of four sales colleagues to deliver strong retail and SME performance.

•  Partner with Planning & Analysis to set monthly/quarterly objectives by model and branch and to maximise stock availability.

•  Build a robust forecasting approach, providing accurate weekly forecasts and clear insights to senior management.

•  Monitor sales progression daily/weekly/monthly and take corrective actions to stay on track.

•  Support the new units sales team on trade-in and buyback deals.

•  Coordinate with logistics and after-sales teams on Ashok Leyland unit-related matters, ensuring smooth delivery and customer support.

•  Develop and maintain KPI reporting (e.g., via SAP/Excel) to track trends and performance.

•  Work with retail partners to design and execute effective sales campaigns that deliver the sales plan and address overage stock.

Skills

Required skills to be successful

•  Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred); MBA is an advantage.

•  3+ years’ experience in the automotive industry, ideally Heavy Commercial Vehicles and/or construction requirements; KSA experience is an added advantage.

•  Comfortable using systems and tools such as SAP and Excel to run performance reporting and forecasting.

•  KSA driving license is preferable.

About the team

You’ll join the FAMCO KSA Eastern Region sales function for Ashok Leyland Trucks, working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. What equips you for the role

•  Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team, driving performance through coaching and clear accountability.

•  Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering sales volume, revenue, and margin targets.

•  Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; confident working with KPI dashboards, forecasts, and variance analysis.

•  Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration (planning, logistics, after-sales, and retail partners).

•  Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

•  A strong motivator with a hands-on leadership style and a track record of building high-performing teams.

•  Fluent English communication.
