Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost estimates based on project scope and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather relevant information.
- Analyze costs related to materials, labor, and equipment.
- Update and maintain cost databases and standard estimating procedures.
- Assist in preparing bids and proposals.
- Provide cost-related input during project reviews and meetings.
- Ensure estimates comply with company standards and policies.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and costs.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation in construction or related industries.
