Roles & Responsibilities
A) Finance
- Assist in smooth flow of finance operations
- Plan / assist / guide the team in Periodic Cash Flow Planning & Management
- Payment and receipt life cycle management, related controls and efficiencies
- Planning / managing the surplus cash / various kinds of borrowing from Banks.
- Ensuring compliance with banks & other financial institutions T&C, covenants etc.
- Assist in cost and expenses monitoring and control
- Execution of Loan documentation
B) Accounting
- Supervision and assist for smooth functioning of accounting department
- Ensuring adoption of appropriate accounting policies, procedures etc and internal controls
commensurating with the business and operation needs
- Ensure timely completion of accounting, all kinds of internal and external reconciliations, periodic
production of financials etc. for board purposes, submission to banks etc
- Timely closure of Annual Audit and preparedness for internal audit at short notice
- Ensure Zakat, VAT return etc timely filing and assist in compliance and assessment matters
C) MIS & Risk Management
- Design and maintenance of MIS databases
- Ensuring timely preparation of various reports on Monthly, Quarterly & Annual basis apart from
adhoc reports, as needed.
- Preparation of periodic budgets, budget vs actuals, Cash flow projections (Monthly & Quarterly or
Semi Annual)
- Risk Management & Compliance Dashboards / Reports (Development & Maintenance)
D) Legal / Investment Back Office
- Reviewing & execution of investment offering documents including legal agreements, subscription / redemption documents, side letters, addendums etc.,
- Investment and disinvestment life cycle management in co-ordination with investment team and
agreed upon processes and timelines
- Involve with / guide the team for various legal matters
E) Technical Tools
- Ensuring deployment and usage of appropriate IT tools for smooth functioning
Desired Candidate Profile
Should be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). MBA from a top college is a plus.
Minimum 5-year experience in a similar role in a mid-size to large professionally managed company.
Excellent PC, spreadsheet & database skills. Experience in ERP such as Dynamics 365, Business
Central, eFront will be a plus
Good leadership and communication skills
Should be self-starter
