Job Title: Principal – International School Location: Riyadh, KSA Saudia Start Date: August (Academic Year Start) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Saudi Principal to lead the launch of our client's new international school. The successful candidate will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership, ensuring the establishment of a high-performing, inclusive learning environment aligned with international best practices.
Key Responsibilities Lead the school’s strategic planning, vision setting, and successful opening Recruit, develop, and retain high-quality teaching and administrative staff Establish and oversee curriculum implementation in line with international standards Drive academic excellence and continuous school improvement Ensure compliance with local regulations and accreditation requirements Build strong relationships with parents, community stakeholders, and governing bodies Oversee student wellbeing, safeguarding, and a positive school culture Manage budgets, resources, and operational systems effectively Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in a senior leadership role (Principal, Head of School, or equivalent) Strong background in international education systems and curricula Demonstrated success in school start-up or turnaround environments preferred Advanced degree in Education or related field (Master’s or higher) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia is an advantage Key Competencies Strategic leadership and decision-making Team building and talent development Cultural awareness and global perspective Operational and financial acumen Commitment to student-centered learning What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to shape and lead a new international school from inception Professional growth in a dynamic and diverse environment
