Roles & Responsibilities

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior HSE Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support the Program Management Office (PMO) .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manages and provides leadership and strategic direction for HSE activities for the program to ensure that products or services provided are in accordance with the client and Parsons HSE requirements.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and makes appropriate recommendations for required actions, including recommendations for advancement, changes in status, or disciplinary action.
  • Provides HSE Systems leadership using the ISO Standard as the basis for process development and optimization, procedure development, data collection and reporting, and HSE Systems training.
  • Implements the defined Corrective Action/ Preventive Action and Non-conformance tracking program development including defining requirements and future administration and support of a unified, system to include tracking of NCR, CAR, Audit Findings, etc. Collaborates with the other BUs HSE Managers/Directors in facilitating HSE Leadership programs, achieving present HSE objectives, setting future HSE objectives and providing input and coordinating output from the HSE Management Reviews.
  • Develops and provides consistent HSE training programs to key personnel including direct reports.
  • Provides continued support and improvement of the client HSE Management System.
  • Acts as a liaison with customers, contractors and/or internal departments on HSE related matters. Interfaces with stakeholders HSE Managers as a member of PMO HSE Working Group to maintain the HSE Guide and advance the overall performance of HSE in the program.
  • Identifies and reports to executive management, HSE issues or trends based on data from a variety of sources. Provides input to management on organization performance metrics, and process or procedural system improvements.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • B.Sc/ MSc or equivalent Degree in any relevant Engineering disciplines from an accredited university.
  • Recognized OSH education, certifications (e.g NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 etc. )
  • ISO 45001: 2018 Lead auditor certificate.
  • Extensive knowledge of Saudi health and safety regulations
  • Minimum 15+ years of safety management experience a
  • OSH management experience in Infrastructure projects
  • Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers
