Job Details

Purpose of the job:To organize and oversee the service provided in respect of maintenance of QC and YC by planning and controlling the work of the staff ensuring that operation and departmental priorities and requirements are met while maintaining the highest standards of work quality and throughput.
Qualification/Capabilities:Bachelor degree in electrical engineering Fluent in English, reading, writing and speaking

Required Experience:5 years of active experience in the marine port industry
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:Budget Control Ensure the maintenance and repairs cost are kept under your assigned budget – R&M Costs
Maintenance and repair of Quay Cranes, RTGs and lifting equipment Ensure that work is performed to the highest standards consistent with resources, the time available and with operation requirements. – PM schedule per month compliance Identify parts and material needed to fulfill the maintenance and repair objectives and ensure the acquisition of critical parts. – Project Management Identify risks and opportunities for your objectives, set the projects needed and follow up during execution and completion. Identify technical and process problems and advise line manager accordingly. Communicate effectively to ensure that information related to the repaired and maintenance of equipment is available when required. – Quality Score, Rework Set and review scheduled maintenance and repair activities and control the resources usage. – Equipment Performance (MMBF QC & YC)
Process compliance Ensure that full and complete maintenance and repairs records are maintained to facilitate planning and analysis. – Quality Score, WO Audits
Safety Ensure all activities count with their JSA, RA, and work permit if required. – Management Safety Walkthrough Ensure that working areas, tools, working-gears are kept tidy and clean. – Safety LTIRLead from the knowledge but also from example demonstrating commitment to a safe working environment – Safety LTIR
