A leading organization in the construction and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Manager – Equipment Quality to lead and strengthen maintenance quality standards across equipment operations and workshops.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities meet OEM standards, internal procedures, and operational quality requirements in order to improve equipment reliability and fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement maintenance quality standards and assurance frameworks across equipment workshops.• Ensure maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities comply with OEM guidelines and engineering specifications.• Verify equipment quality and inspection standards before releasing equipment back to operations or project deployment.• Conduct maintenance audits to ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and operational standards.• Monitor maintenance quality KPIs such as rework rates, repeat failures, and repair effectiveness.• Standardize inspection protocols, repair documentation, and maintenance quality procedures.• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance equipment lifecycle performance and reliability.• Collaborate with operations, R&M teams, planning, and workshops to improve maintenance quality governance.
Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or a related field.• Minimum 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, workshop operations, or heavy equipment quality management within the construction sector.• Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle management, maintenance quality assurance, and workshop governance.• Experience working with OEM standards, heavy equipment fleets, and maintenance auditing practices.
