Job Description:We are seeking an Interface Engineer to manage and coordinate key project interfaces across stakeholders, internal functions, and external authorities within a major infrastructure project environment.
The role is responsible for ensuring effective interface planning, timely closure of interface requirements, and continuous alignment between all concerned parties to support project delivery in accordance with approved requirements, project priorities, and execution timelines.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead the coordination of interfaces between project teams, stakeholders, external authorities, and relevant third parties. • Monitor interface requirements, comments, approvals, and action items to ensure timely closure and proper follow-up. • Support the resolution of interface-related issues, constraints, and conflicts that may affect project progress. • Maintain and update interface registers, logs, trackers, and related reporting records. • Coordinate with design, construction, traffic, and stakeholder teams to ensure alignment of interface requirements. • Review stakeholder comments, technical inputs, and authority requirements, and follow up on their incorporation into project deliverables. • Escalate critical interface issues and pending actions where required to maintain progress and avoid delays. • Attend coordination meetings and provide structured follow-up on agreed actions and pending items. • Support the preparation of interface status reports, summaries, and management updates. • Ensure that interface activities are managed in line with project objectives, approved submissions, and contractual obligations.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. • 3+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure, construction, transportation, or major project environments. • Proven experience in stakeholder coordination, authority follow-up, approvals management, and cross-functional communication. • Strong ability to track actions, manage priorities, and maintain structured records and reports. • Good understanding of project delivery processes, interface coordination, and multidisciplinary project environments. • Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Qualifications: • Professional certifications are considered an advantage. • Familiarity with project controls, governance, or reporting frameworks is preferred.
