Job Summary The Network Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and availability of LAN, WAN, and VPN systems. The role involves leading a team of network engineers, managing network projects, maintaining security standards, and ensuring efficient network operations. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks. Monitor network performance, availability, and security using network monitoring tools. Ensure maximum network uptime and performance optimization. Develop and enforce network security policies, firewalls, IDS, and access controls. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network and system issues. Lead and supervise network engineers and administrators, including performance management and mentoring. Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations. Manage vendors, ISPs, and service providers, including SLAs and contracts. Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and policies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.7–10 years of experience in network administration/engineering. Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, and firewalls. Experience with network monitoring tools such as Solar Winds, Wireshark, or similar. Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and vendor management skills.
