Role Description
The Indian Cook will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes in a professional kitchen environment, ensuring high-quality meals are consistently served. Daily tasks include meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, managing inventory, and collaborating with kitchen staff to efficiently manage daily operations. The role also involves ensuring proper storage of food supplies, adherence to safety standards, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pakistan.
Qualifications
Strong skills in preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Indian cuisines, including regional specialties and traditional dishes. Proficiency in seasoning, ingredient selection, and use of traditional Indian cooking techniques, including tandoori, curries, and flatbreads preparation. Experience in kitchen management, food safety standards, and inventory management. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities. Minimum 2 years of experience as an Indian Cook or in a similar role within the culinary industry. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification in Indian cuisine is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of local health and safety regulations in Pakistan is an advantage.
