About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Specification and Prescription Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia with the main objective of ensuring our company's products and services are specified in major clients’ approved vendor lists (AVL). This position requires technical expertise, AVL process knowledge, relationship-building skills, presentation skills, and the ability to work with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to achieve the objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with major clients, engineering firms, consultants, contractors, and procurement teams to ensure company products and suppliers are specified and approved. Provide product specifications to clients to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and regulatory compliance, to meet client needs and approval requirements. Monitor industry standards, certifications, and compliance requirements to facilitate supplier approvals. Lead technical discussions with clients to address any concerns and ensure successful vendor registration. Track and report progress on supplier approvals and maintain updated documentation for client AVLs. Track competition products, technical features, and create a unique selling proposition for Westinghouse products. Contribute to the preparation and submission of pre-qualification documents, technical submittal, and compliance sheets. Coordinate with the sales team for lead generation,
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.2-5 years of experience in prescription engineering, vendor approvals, or technical sales. Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier qualifications, and engineering specifications. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple approval processes simultaneously.
