Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for roads and bridges project, identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  2. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate risk management processes into the project lifecycle, ensuring that all team members are aware of potential risks.
  3. Monitor and report on risk exposure throughout the project phases, utilizing risk management software and tools to track progress and effectiveness of mitigation measures.
  4. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of road and bridge construction project, aligning them with industry best practices.
  5. Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions for project teams, enhancing their understanding of risk management principles and promoting a proactive risk culture.
  6. Analyze project data and historical performance metrics to identify trends and inform future risk management strategies, ensuring continuous improvement.
  7. Engage with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay updated on compliance requirements and emerging risks in the construction sector.
  8. Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into risk exposure and recommending strategies for risk reduction.
  9. Lead cross-functional teams in developing contingency plans and response strategies for identified risks, ensuring that the organization is prepared for potential challenges.

Skills

Qualifications & Education:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.


Experience Requirements:

Total Experience: 20+ years experience at infrastructure projects such as bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, highways.

Regional Experience: Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a significant advantage.


Skills & Competencies:

Languages: Excellent command of English (written & spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Software: Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Mindset: A self-driven, result-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership.
