Job Details

This is a prestigious mega-infrastructure project in Riyadh being a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s strategic transportation network. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all surveying activities for road and bridge construction, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations to deliver accurate and reliable data for project planning.
  2. Lead and manage a team of surveyors, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  3. Utilize advanced surveying technologies and software, such as GPS and CAD, to conduct precise measurements and create detailed project plans that meet client specifications.
  4. Coordinate with engineers and project managers to align surveying efforts with project timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met promptly and efficiently.
  5. Conduct field surveys and inspections to assess project sites, identifying potential challenges and providing solutions to mitigate risks and enhance project outcomes.
  6. Prepare and present detailed reports on surveying findings, including data analysis and recommendations, to stakeholders and clients to facilitate informed decision-making.
  7. Ensure the maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment, implementing best practices for equipment management to guarantee optimal performance and accuracy.
  8. Develop and implement surveying protocols and procedures that align with company policies and industry best practices, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in surveying technology, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and deliver innovative solutions.

Skills

Qualifications & Education:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Engineering from an accredited university.


Experience Requirements:

Total Experience: 20+ years experience at infrastructure projects such as bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, highways.

Managerial Experience: Minimum 5+ years working as Survey Manager.

Regional Experience: Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a significant advantage.


Skills & Competencies:

Languages: Excellent command of English (written & spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Proficiency in Survey Equipment: GPS / Total Station / Levelling Instrument

Proficiency in Survey Software: Autodesk Civil 3D / Autodesk Infraworks/ Trimble Business Center/ Leica Infinity / ArcGIS

Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Mindset: A self-driven, result-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership.
