Role Summary

The Digital Pathology Business Development Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue from Leica Biosystems Digital Pathology products and services in Saudi Arabia, while enabling customers to embark on a seamless digital transformation journey.


This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager, META – Digital Pathology and is part of the META Digital Pathology Organization. The role is based in Saudi Arabia and is fully remote.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Own and develop Digital Pathology opportunities in Saudi Arabia—from opportunity identification through full implementation—managing each stage in collaboration with Sales, Applications, and Technical teams.


  • Deliver assigned country revenue and profitability targets by building a strong network of clinical, IT, and executive KOLs through sustained field intensity, customer intimacy, and robust account mapping that supports a successful customer buying journey.


  • Maintain a healthy Digital Pathology funnel and provide accurate monthly forecasting aligned to phased monthly targets.


  • Execute standard work and comply with organizational policies to accelerate impactful commercial execution, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Applications, Technical Services, CDL, and Business Unit teams.


  • Lead with value selling by developing tailored value propositions and supporting smart, market-relevant pricing models.


Essential Requirements

The essential requirements of the role include:


  • Advanced university degree in Medical Technology, Pathology, Histology, Biomedical, Engineering, Imaging or Software Applications.


  • Experience in selling, consulting, demonstrating, or operating digital medical devices and/or software applications, including presenting end-to-end digital healthcare solutions to diverse customer personas.


  • A proven KOL network, strong market understanding, and customer relationship management within the pathology domain in Saudi Arabia.


  • Knowledge of PACS, DICOM, LIS, pathology workflows, and laboratory electronic systems.


  • Strong customer engagement skills at all levels, with the ability to establish clear, differentiated value propositions.


Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 75% for full geographical coverage.


  • International travel may be required, but less frequently.


Nice to Have

It would be a plus if you also bring experience in:


  • Digital Pathology, pathology imaging software, and/or AI-enabled solutions.
