Job Title: Document Controller – Water Projects
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Job Purpose:
The Document Controller is responsible for the effective management, control, and distribution of all project documentation related to water infrastructure projects. The role ensures that all documents are accurately recorded, updated, and maintained in compliance with project requirements, company policies, and KSA regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain an effective document control system for water projects
Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, and archiving of all project documents
Ensure proper version control, document numbering, and revision tracking
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely submission and approval of documents
Maintain document registers, transmittals, and logs in line with project procedures
Ensure compliance with project standards, client requirements, and KSA regulations
Support audits and ensure documentation readiness at all project stages
Maintain confidentiality and security of project information
Assist in project close-out documentation and handover packages
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in water, pipeline, STP, or infrastructure projects
Prior experience working on projects in KSA is highly preferred
Proficiency in EDMS, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and document control software
Skills & Competencies:
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
