The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and developing business opportunities within contracting fields, particularly in Buildings MEP, Water, and Wastewater projects. The role combines technical knowledge with strong commercial skills to build client relationships, manage the sales pipeline, and support project acquisition.
Identify and develop current and future sales opportunities within assigned markets and accounts.
Establish and grow new customer accounts through market analysis, prospecting, and structured sales planning.
Prepare and execute sales plans aligned with business objectives and revenue targets.
Manage and regularly update the sales pipeline and opportunity trackers to ensure accurate forecasting.
Handle client inquiries, provide technical and commercial clarifications, and support proposal preparation.
Coordinate with internal technical, engineering, and operations teams to ensure effective solution delivery.
Follow up on proposals, negotiations, and contract closures to achieve sales targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and project pipelines to support strategic decision-making.
Contribute to overall team performance by supporting shared objectives and cross-functional initiatives.
Continuously enhance professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, industry publications, and networking activities.
