About the Role
At OMQ, the Business Development Specialist plays a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding OMQ’s presence in the events, exhibitions, and experiential marketing market.
The role focuses on generating leads, developing proposals, managing client relationships, and supporting revenue growth, while working closely with leadership, creative, operations, and project teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and business objectives. - Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities across events, exhibitions, and experiential marketing projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and commercial offers aligned with OMQ’s capabilities and strategic positioning.
- Lead and support negotiations, contract discussions, and deal closure in coordination with management.
- Track sales pipelines, leads, and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
- Support client onboarding and handover to delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent OMQ in meetings, pitches, networking events, and industry gatherings when required.
- Contribute to revenue forecasting, business planning, and growth initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations, commercial agreements, and project delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within events, exhibitions, creative agencies, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution-based business development.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
- Experience working closely with creative and operations teams.
- Strong presentation, proposal writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness.
- Native Arabic speaker with very good English proficiency (spoken and written).
