Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on IT professional to manage our day-to-day IT operations and provide excellent technical support to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining our systems and networks. Key Responsibilities Technical Troubleshooting & User Support:Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Provide hands-on support to employees and ensure efficient IT service delivery. Operating System & Software Management:Install, configure, and maintain Windows (and occasionally Linux) systems. Manage software installations, updates, and patching. Active Directory & User Management:Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies. Implement security best practices in the Active Directory environment. Network Fundamentals & Security:Support basic network configurations, troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, and assist with network device management (routers, switches, etc.). Configure and manage Forti Gate firewalls to protect the network, including setting up VPNs and maintaining security policies. Virtualization Management:Manage and optimize Hyper-V environments to ensure efficient server virtualization and resource allocation. Backup & Recovery Solutions:Set up and manage backup systems, ensuring data integrity and implementing disaster recovery procedures. IT Procurement & Asset Management:Maintain hardware and software inventories and assist with evaluating new IT equipment. Documentation & Communication:Create clear documentation for IT processes and procedures. Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users. Required Skills & Experience:Proven experience in IT support and system administration. Proficiency in Windows system administration (installation, configuration, and maintenance); Linux experience is a plus. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, user account management, and group policies. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configurations, routers, switches, and firewalls). Practical experience with Forti Gate firewalls – including VPN configurations and security policy management. Hands-on expertise with Hyper-V virtualization – managing virtual machines, resource allocation, and system performance. Experience with backup systems and disaster recovery procedures (Veeam). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset. Certifications (Preferred/Required):Comp TIA A+. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). Comp TIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) ITIL Foundation (optional).
