Role Description
Assist in managing the cost cycle, including posting purchasing documents and related accounting entries (local/foreign material invoices, customs, landing costs). Support inventory accounting activities and contribute to reconciliations. Help ensure accurate and timely calculation of the Cost of Production. Assist with both system‑based and manual costing processes. Conduct cost variance analysis across materials, labor, overhead, and production. Prepare basic cost reports and summaries for management and identify potential cost‑saving opportunities with guidance. Communicate effectively with finance, procurement, supply chain, and production teams to support smooth processes.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of core finance and accounting principles, including Cost of Production, inventory, and procurement accounting. Experience with Foodex and familiarity with local ERPs (e.g., Rahkaran) is preferred. Knowledge of production workflows, including Bill of Materials (BOM), production accounting, cost rollups, and cost allocation methods. Understanding of fixed vs. variable costs, labor costing, and their impact on operational and P&L reporting.
