Corporate / Holding Finance:
• Support GL accounting and monthly close for holding and non-school entities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate schedules.
• Track corporate overheads, shared costs, and intercompany charges.
New School Launches & Setups:
• Support financial setup of new schools (bank accounts, chart of accounts, controls).
• Coordinate finance readiness during school launches and transitions.
• Ensure finance processes are aligned with SEP standards from day one.
Treasury & Banking Support:
• Assist with bank account administration and testing (local & foreign currency).
• Support cash movement tracking and treasury documentation.
• Coordinate with banks on operational matters (non-negotiation).
Planning & Budgeting Support (Holding & Platform):
• Support preparation of the SEP holding company annual budget and periodic reforecasts, covering corporate overheads, shared services, and non-school entities.
• Maintain budget vs. actual tracking for holding costs, prepare variance explanations, and ensure alignment/reconciliation between planning outputs and accounting actuals.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the wider FP&A/planning function (templates, consolidations, timelines, and basic scenario analysis for corporate/launch impacts) as required.
Compliance & Reporting Support:
• Prepare supporting schedules for VAT, WHT, and statutory filings.
• Assist in audit preparation and data compilation.
• Maintain compliance trackers and documentation logs. Process & Systems Support

Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and treasury roles, preferably within the education industry.
• Exposure to holding companies, multi-entity structures, or project launches, cash flow management, and treasury operations.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for AR management (e.g., SAP, Oracle or equivalent systems being used in education industry).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to interpret financial data.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks for AR and debt collection in the education sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive collection processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, handling multiple tasks effectively.
