SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


As a Customer Group Manager – Energy, you will be responsible to manage the Energy Concept(s) in a Saudi Arabia to achieve profitable sales, gross margin, and sales growth within the expected cost parameters by applying Jotun’s sales tools and techniques to develop strong customer relationships, liaise with the client market, and respond to energy sales and technical inquiries.
The position is based in Dammam and reports to the Protective & Marine Segment Director.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop the energy concept business, create new customers, and promote Jotun products by understanding the market, recognizing business opportunities, and developing a good network in the market to increase market share in Saudi Arabia.


  • Introduce, promote, and sell assigned products to new and existing customers by conducting regular visits and gathering market intelligence in order to achieve budget deliverables in terms of value, volume, and gross margins.


  • Develop and strengthen customer relationships through regular visits, responding to sales and technical inquiries, and providing suitable coating specifications to secure sustainable market share and promote Jotun as a preferred supplier of high-quality paints services also need to manage sales and profitability at a customer level by continually monitoring the performance.


  • Organise, develop, motivate, and lead sales teams by setting clear targets and framework, coaching, supporting, and following-up team members in line with The Penguin Spirit to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole team.


  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and feedback sessions with employees as required (KIT – Key issue Talks and yPOD – yearly talk on Performance, Objectives and Development)

We are looking for:


Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s degree. Sales & Marketing is preferable.


  • 3 to 5 Years relevant experience in leading Energy, Performance Coating Sales and Business Development.


  • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen.


  • Fluency in English – both verbal and written.
