Head of Events Role: The Head of Events is a senior role responsible for the end-to-end planning, production and delivery of all tournament-related events for a sports event organizer in KSA. Working within a small, high-performing team, the role requires a hands-on events leader with deep agency-side experience, capable of producing events from concept through execution and close-out. This role is not limited to overseeing agencies but requires the ability to challenge and deliver production plans and budgets with full technical and operational understanding. The Head of Events will lead the delivery of brand activations, roadshows, trophy tours, fan zones and community engagement events of all scales, while also working closely with the Ceremonies Department to support the successful delivery of official ceremonies and matchday infotainment. Key Responsibilities• Lead the overall events strategy and delivery framework for all events • Translate the strategy and brand into scalable, high-quality live event experiences across Saudi Arabia• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, production scopes and budgets • Ensure alignment between Events, Ceremonies, Marketing, Commercial and Operations teams • Take full ownership of the end-to-end production of events from concept development to on-site delivery and dismantling • Personally review and challenge agency proposals, production methodologies, technical plans and cost structures • Ensure all events are delivered safely, on brand, on time and within budget • Lead the briefing, appointment and management of event agencies and production partners • Act as a knowledgeable client counterpart with the technical and production expertise to guide agencies effectively • Review creative concepts, technical drawings, production schedules, risk assessments and operational plans • Manage agency performance, contracts, budgets and deliverables • Work closely with the Ceremonies Department to support the delivery of: Award ceremonies Opening and closing ceremonies Matchday infotainment and entertainment elements • Provide production and operational input to ensure alignment between ceremonies and wider event standards• Oversee event risk management, crowd management and contingency planning • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including venues, authorities, sponsors and host cities • Manage post-event reporting, learnings and financial reconciliation Required Experience & Background • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in live events, experiential marketing or large-scale event production • Strong prior experience working within an events or experiential agency is essential • Proven track record of delivering complex events • Experience working on major sports events, tournaments or global brands preferred • Deep understanding of live event production including staging, technical, logistics and operations
