Job Details

Responsibilities:




  • Act as the technical authority for all landscape-related matters on the project

  • Review and approve landscape designs, drawings, and specifications submitted by contractors and consultants

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental requirements, and Saudi standards

  • Provide guidance on softscape and hardscape design, including plant selection, irrigation systems, and urban furniture

  • Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify contractor compliance with design intent

  • Review and approve RFIs, submittals, and design modifications related to landscape works

  • Coordinate with civil, irrigation, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of landscape with overall project design

  • Review and validate landscape construction methodologies and installation sequences

  • Oversee irrigation, drainage, and soil management systems in collaboration with relevant disciplines

  • Provide input for value engineering, sustainability, and cost optimization

  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality standards are met

  • Support project handover with as-built documentation and maintenance guidelines

  • Mentor and guide junior landscape engineers and architects within the PMC team


Essential Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in landscape design and supervision on major road, highway, or infrastructure projects

  • Strong experience in PMC or consultancy role

  • Knowledge of local Saudi landscaping standards, irrigation practices, and environmental guidelines

  • Excellent coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven experience in sustainable and aesthetically functional landscape design
