As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Leader Group, you will be a central force in driving the company’s growth across Saudi Arabia’s public sector and enterprise markets. Your mandate is to create demand, unlock new revenue streams, and convert complex opportunities into long-term strategic partnerships. This role requires a market leader mindset. You will act as a deal architect and growth enabler, working across Leader Group’s integrated ecosystem—Digital Solutions, Consulting, Construction, and BPO—to deliver measurable business and national impact aligned with Vision 2030.
Key Responsibilities Market & Business Development • Identify, qualify, and develop high-value business opportunities across ministries, municipalities, giga-projects, and large enterprises. • Lead market expansion initiatives across new regions, sectors, and service lines within Saudi Arabia. • Build and execute strategic partnership models with technology vendors, integrators, and local ecosystem partners. • Monitor market dynamics, government programs, regulations, and competitive movements, converting insight into action. Customer & Opportunity Leadership • Establish and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. • Lead opportunity shaping, solution positioning, and value articulation from early engagement to award. • Own commercial negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring alignment with financial, legal, and delivery teams. • Expand existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling Leader Group’s full portfolio. Solution & Portfolio Enablement • Work closely with Solution Managers, Consulting Leads, and Product Teams to align client challenges with integrated solutions. • Provide structured market feedback to support solution evolution and innovation. • Support portfolio positioning and differentiation in competitive tenders and negotiated deals.
Cross-Functional & Ecosystem Collaboration • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, PMO, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth deal execution and handover. • Leverage Leader Group’s multi-business-unit model to deliver end-to-end, outcome-driven offerings. • Manage and grow strategic alliances and channels, ensuring performance and mutual growth. Pipeline, Governance & CRM Management • Build and manage a balanced and credible pipeline, covering short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities. • Maintain full opportunity governance through CRM systems, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and forecast reliability. • Track KPIs, win ratios, and deal velocity, reporting progress against agreed business targets. • Use data-driven insights to support leadership decisions and growth planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, IT, or related disciplines (MBA preferred). • 5+ years of successful experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic account management. • Proven exposure to Saudi government, semi-government, or large enterprise clients. • Strong experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments. • Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent). • Commercially sharp, confident communicator with strong negotiation skills. • Able to operate effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced organization. • Fluent in Arabic and English. • Saudi National preferred in line with localization and market engagement requirements.
