Key Accountabilities
- Put the Quality and Food Safety Policy into implementation and assume all responsibilities assigned in the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
- Conduct inspections and analysis on the raw material, packaging material, processing and finished products quality versus specifications as per the inspection plan and prepare related reports.
- Monitor the adherence to Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hygiene requirements.
- Conduct behavioral safety observations as assigned by plant Quality and Food Safety Manager.
- Conduct online testing of quality parameters as per the testing program requirements.
- Note any deviations and communicate to the stakeholders and ensure proper course of action is immediately taking place including hold and release of any nonconforming product according to the Hold and release procedure.
- Perform Quality and Food Safety incidents root cause analysis and trend analysis.
- Verify and validate undertaken actions to ensure their effectiveness in delivering required improvements.
- Support the Quality and Food Safety training program as assigned by the plant Quality and Food Safety Manager.
- Conduct Sanitation and Pest Control verification as per procedure requirements.
- Provide Quality and Food Safety advice/guidance/coaching to the plant team and identify common competency gaps to be addressed in the relevant training programs.
- Support the Quality and Food Safety Management System development and continuous improvements through active participation as assigned by the plant Quality and Food Safety Manager.
- Recognize and embrace positive behaviors and practices.
- Ensuring calibrations of all Quality and Food Safety control equipment (metal detectors, primary and secondary weighers and check weighers, X-rays, seal checkers, balances…etc.).
- Any other actions or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager that is in line and supports the job main purpose.

Job Requirements
·Educational level: Bachelor's degree·Specific diploma/education: Food Safety Management related certificate (ISO 22000, BRC, IFS, or similar) ·Minimal experience: 3-5 years in food factories, preferably dairy.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage with and influence the behaviors of others internally and externally without direct reporting relationship
·Problem solving and strong analytical thinking (root-cause analysis, setting action plans…etc.)
·Languages: English and preferably Arabic as an addition.
