Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented GCC Site Architect to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, KSA.


The Architectural Engineer will play a key role in the design coordination, technical development, and delivery of a high-profile mixed-use project in Riyadh. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and authorities to ensure architectural design intent is translated into high-quality, compliant, and buildable solutions in line with Saudi regulations and international best practices.


We envisage success in this role to include:


  • Design & Technical Delivery
    • Review, develop, and coordinate architectural designs from concept through detailed design and construction stages.


    • Ensure alignment between architectural intent, engineering requirements, and constructability.


    • Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.


    • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants to resolve design interfaces and clashes.


    Project & Stakeholder Coordination
    • Act as a key architectural interface between client, design teams, contractors, and authorities.


    • Participate in design workshops, technical reviews, and coordination meetings.


    • Support authority submissions and ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, local municipality requirements, and client standards.


    Construction Phase Support
    • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups for architectural compliance.


    • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to approved designs.


    • Respond to RFIs and design queries in a timely and professional manner.


    Quality, Compliance & Sustainability
    • Ensure architectural solutions meet quality, safety, accessibility, and sustainability requirements.


    • Support the implementation of sustainable design principles and rating systems where applicable (e.g., LEED, Estidama, or equivalent).


    • Identify and mitigate architectural risks throughout the project lifecycle.



Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Architecture.
