Responsibilities:




  • Inspect and supervise the installation of irrigation systems, including pumps, pipelines, valves, sprinklers, drip systems, and controllers

  • Verify that irrigation works comply with approved designs, drawings, and project specifications

  • Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems on-site

  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines

  • Review material submittals, certificates, and testing reports for irrigation components

  • Inspect water distribution, flow rates, and pressure compliance with project requirements

  • Document inspection findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken

  • Coordinate with landscape, civil, and mechanical teams for integration of irrigation works

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during installation and testing

  • Prepare detailed daily/weekly inspection reports for PMC management and client review

  • Participate in client and PMC inspections, audits, and project meetings

  • Maintain organized records of inspections, approvals, and test results

  • Assist in the preparation of as-built irrigation drawings and documentation for project closeout

  • Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors and site staff regarding irrigation works

  • Verify contractors’ compliance with testing procedures and manufacturer recommendations

  • Support coordination with vendors and suppliers for technical clarifications on irrigation components

  • Ensure proper maintenance and protection of irrigation systems during construction activities


Essential Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an Irrigation Inspector or similar role, preferably on road and infrastructure projects

  • Prior experience with PMC, consultancy, or large-scale construction projects preferred

  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation standards

  • Familiarity with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and reporting requirements

  • Excellent report writing, documentation, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently on-site and in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
