Responsibilities:




  • Inspect and monitor landscape works on-site to ensure compliance with approved design, quality standards, and project specifications

  • Review landscape drawings, designs, and materials submitted by contractors

  • Verify the installation of plants, trees, irrigation systems, pavements, and soft/hard landscaping elements

  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards for landscape works

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and document observations for submission to PMC and client

  • Coordinate with design, planning, and site teams to resolve issues related to landscape execution

  • Ensure that contractors follow health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site

  • Participate in progress meetings and provide updates on landscape works

  • Maintain an organized record of inspections, approvals, and non-compliance issues

  • Provide technical recommendations for improvements or corrective actions

  • Support project closeout by verifying as-built conditions and compliance with contract requirements

  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure proper execution of landscape works according to design and specifications

  • Monitor planting, soil preparation, irrigation, lighting, and hardscape installations for quality and adherence to project standards

  • Verify contractor compliance with environmental, safety, and sustainability requirements

  • Check the condition and quality of plants, trees, shrubs, and turf, and recommend replacements if necessary

  • Ensure proper maintenance and protection of landscape works during construction activities

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to clarify specifications or resolve discrepancies

  • Document and track non-conformance issues and ensure timely corrective actions by contractors

  • Review and approve material submittals for landscape works, including plants, fertilizers, mulch, and irrigation components

  • Assist in preparing as-built landscape drawings and documentation for project closeout

  • Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors or site staff on best practices in landscape construction

  • Support project reporting by providing visual evidence, progress photos, and summary reports for management and client review

  • Participate in client or PMC audits and inspections related to landscaping works


Essential Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in landscape inspection or supervision, preferably on road and infrastructure projects

  • Proven experience in PMC, consultancy, or large-scale construction projects

  • Strong knowledge of landscape design, materials, and installation practices

  • Familiarity with irrigation systems, softscape and hardscape works

  • Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently on-site and in a multi-disciplinary team
