Job Details

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Project Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in building construction to support our project management and site delivery functions. The ideal candidate will coordinate technical activities, monitor project progress, and ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety requirements across all project stages.


  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of project activities in line with approved plans and specifications.
  • Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, highlight risks/delays, and support preparation of recovery actions.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, logs, and other project documentation.
  • Support cost and quantity verification for interim payments, variations, and change orders.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
  • Assist in the coordination of testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 6–8 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in building construction (schools, commercial, residential, or institutional preferred).
  • Strong understanding of civil, architectural, and MEP systems.
  • Prior experience in the KSA construction environment, including exposure to regulatory approvals, local codes, and authorities (Amanah/MOMRAH, Civil Defense, MOE, etc.) is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera) and Revit is an added value.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve technical issues
  • Commitment to quality control, safety, and project delivery timelines.
  • Ability to prepare detailed daily and weekly progress reports with accurate site records and photographs.
  • Experience supporting project teams with quantity verification, progress validation, and payment certificate checks.
  • Familiarity with documentation requirements such as NCRs, site instructions, snag lists, as-built updates, and handover documentation.
  • High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving capability.
