Job Details

As a Sales Executive in the Abrasive Blasting sector, your primary objective is to bridge the gap between technical surface preparation solutions and industrial client needs. You will manage territories, secure new accounts, and provide technical guidance on media and equipment selection. Key Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within industrial sectors like, construction, and oil and gas. Technical Consultation: Recommend specific blasting media (e.g., steel grit, garnet, glass beads) and equipment based on client surface preparation requirements. Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site trials and demonstrations of blasting machinery and media to prove efficiency and quality. Relationship Management: Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts, including engineers, procurement teams, and production managers. Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust pricing strategies and product offerings. Sales Reporting: Manage the full sales cycle, providing accurate forecasts and market feedback to management. Required Experience & Qualifications Industry Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales experience specifically within the abrasives or industrial metal finishing industry. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC/NACE) and the mechanics of abrasive air blast processes. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field (BE/BTech) is often preferred. Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to close complex industrial deals. Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) to meet clients at job sites and industrial facilities.
