Job summary:The Procurement Contracts Officer is responsible for preparing, managing, and reviewing purchase contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring full compliance with the company’s policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and monitor their execution to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Manage documents and approvals related to contracts and suppliers, ensuring completeness and compliance with established standards. Prepare periodic reports on supplier performance and contract effectiveness, and share them with relevant departments. Coordinate with other departments to ensure the requirements of major companies and key suppliers are met when needed. Participate in resolving issues or disputes related to contract execution as required. Contribute to committees or initiatives related to procurement and contracting, or any other related activities.
Required Skills:Contract Preparation & Review: Ability to draft and review contracts ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with suppliers to secure optimal terms, deadlines, and quality. Supplier Management: Monitoring supplier performance and evaluating contract effectiveness to ensure compliance. Legal & Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of policies and regulations related to procurement and contracts. Fluency in Arabic and English (Written and Spoken):Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English .
Required Qualifications: Chain Management, Finance, Commercial Law, or any related field. A diploma or professional certification in procurement, such as Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Contract Management certification, is considered an additional advantage.
