Marketing Director (Automotive | KSA) We are supporting a confidential search for a Marketing Director to join a global automotive OEM operating in the Middle East. This is a national leadership role within a fast-growing, high-potential automotive business. This is a confidential role and company details will be shared only with candidates shortlisted for interview.
The Opportunity This is a senior, commercially focused leadership role. Brand-only, PR, communications, CX, agency, and junior profiles will not be considered. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for the marketing function at country level. The business is in a scaling and transformation phase, with multiple new model launches planned and a strong focus on commercial performance, competitiveness, and market share growth. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and works in very close partnership with Sales and Commercial leadership. This is not a communications-only role. The successful candidate will be expected to operate as a commercial marketing leader, owning go-to-market decisions and supporting volume growth.
Key Responsibilities Own and lead the national marketing strategy at country level, with end-to-end accountability across brand, product marketing, retail/dealer marketing, and digital Act as a commercial marketing partner to Sales, with direct involvement in pricing strategy, price positioning, and competitiveness analysis Lead go-to-market strategy for new vehicle launches and lifecycle management, ensuring strong dealer readiness and volume support Drive volume growth and market share through effective pricing input, promotional strategy, and retail activation Manage and optimise marketing budgets, ensuring clear ROI, cost control, and performance accountability Lead and develop a high-performing local marketing team, setting clear direction, priorities, and standards Own relationships with external agencies and suppliers, ensuring delivery against commercial and brand objectives Work closely with senior leadership and OEM stakeholders to ensure alignment between product, pricing, marketing, and sales execution Monitor market performance, competitor activity, and consumer trends, translating insight into actionable commercial and marketing decisions
Candidate Profile Senior marketing leader with experience at country or national level within an automotive OEM or distributor environment Strong commercial mindset, with proven involvement in pricing strategy, go-to-market decisions, and volume support Track record of leading multiple vehicle launches and lifecycle management Comfortable partnering closely with Sales and senior leadership in a high-growth, performance-driven environment This role is not a PR, communications, or brand-only position Saudi or GCC automotive experience preferred English required; Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory Willing to be based full-time in Jeddah
