Job Summary
Cashier receive daily statement report from the registration clerks assigned from various departments and checks from customers/clients (Insurance and Direct Companies) received by accounting section. To prepare all cash and checks received for bank deposit.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the NMC Hospitals and Clinics. Receives cash or checks or completed credit card transactions from the Registration Clerks. Counts money to verify amounts received. Compares totals on cash register with amount of currency in register to verify balances. Endorse checks and lists total cash and checks to the Head of Cashier for bank deposit. Compiles collection, disbursement, and bank reconciliation reports. Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned by Superiors. Deposits on daily basis all above mentioned Cash receipts on the following day in the Hospital Bank Accounts.

Qualifications:A minimum of:Two (2) years experience as a cashier. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
