Role Summary The Marketing Operations Specialist is the operational backbone of the marketing department. This role ensures smooth coordination between marketing, purchasing, and showroom teams, while translating the Head of Marketing’s strategy into organized, trackable, and executable tasks. The position requires high attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, market awareness, and daily oversight of sales and brand presence. This role is not purely creative; it is execution-focused, process-driven, and highly collaborative. Key Responsibilities0. Meetings, Agencies & External Coordination Prepare, schedule, and organize internal marketing meetings and cross-department meetings Set meeting agendas, collect updates, and ensure clear action points and follow-ups Coordinate and communicate with external agencies, suppliers, and partners Source, contact, and evaluate agencies or service providers Identify potential deals, collaborations, and cost-effective opportunities Arrange and attend meetings with agencies, internal teams, or other stakeholders as required 1. Cross-Department Coordination Act as the main marketing point of contact with the Purchasing Department to:Track new arrivals and upcoming products Ensure timely marketing preparation for new stock Coordinate with showroom managers to:Check stock availability Confirm product readiness for marketing campaigns Align showroom needs with marketing directions2. Marketing Team Operations Distribute tasks to the marketing team according to instructions from the Head of Marketing Follow up on all assigned tasks to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met Organize workflows and priorities across designers, media buyers, content creators, and social media team members Ensure clarity of briefs, timelines, and responsibilities3. Task Management & Organization Manage all marketing tasks and workflows using:Microsoft Teams Planner and/or Click UpCreate, update, and monitor tasks, timelines, and dependencies Maintain clear documentation and structured task boards Ensure nothing is missed, delayed, or untracked4. Sales & Performance Follow-UpMonitor daily sales reports Coordinate with the Head of Marketing regarding sales trends, campaign impact, and required adjustments Support marketing decisions with organized data and insights5. Brand & Market Awareness Ensure daily follow-up on brand presence across social media platforms Verify consistency of branding, messaging, and execution Stay aware of market trends, competitors’ activities, and ongoing campaigns Flag opportunities, risks, or gaps to the Head of Marketing6.
