Job Overview Our employer is seeking a highly experienced Wood Factory Manager to lead and manage our wood manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience not only in factory operations but also in establishing wood factories from initial planning through full-scale production. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Establish, set up, and commission wood manufacturing factories from scratch Plan factory layout, workflow, and production lines for optimal efficiency Select, procure, and install woodworking machinery and equipment Lead day-to-day factory operations including production planning, manpower, and machinery Oversee manufacturing of joinery, furniture, doors, kitchens, and custom woodwork Ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, cost, and timelines Implement quality control systems, safety standards, and best manufacturing practices Manage raw material planning, inventory control, and waste reduction Supervise, recruit, and train production teams, supervisors, and technical staff Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth execution Monitor preventive maintenance and machinery performance Prepare production reports and provide updates to senior management Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in wood manufacturing / joinery factory operations Proven experience in a Factory Manager / Senior Production Manager role Hands-on experience in establishing wood factories from planning to operation Strong technical knowledge of wood materials, finishes, machinery, and production processes Experience managing large teams and multiple production lines Strong understanding of quality control standards and factory safety regulations Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
