Job Summary The Tendering Manager – Fitout is responsible for managing the complete tendering process for interior fit-out and refurbishment projects. This role ensures accurate cost estimation, competitive pricing, and timely submission of high-quality tenders in line with client requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities Tender Management Manage the full tender lifecycle from enquiry receipt to final submission and post-tender clarification Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of works Prepare tender programs, submission schedules, and resource plans
Cost Estimation & Pricing Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out works (commercial, residential, hospitality, retail) Analyze drawings and specifications to identify risks, value engineering options, and cost efficiencies Prepare competitive pricing strategies while maintaining target margins
Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination Identify, pre-qualify, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers Obtain and evaluate quotations to ensure technical and commercial compliance Maintain an up-to-date subcontractor and supplier database
Commercial & Technical Coordination Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure tender accuracy Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and tender clarification meetings Prepare technical submissions, method statements, and value engineering proposals
Risk & Compliance Identify commercial, contractual, and technical risks within tenders Ensure tenders comply with contractual terms, client requirements, and company policies Support contract negotiations and handover to project execution teams
Team Leadership & Reporting Lead and mentor estimators and tender engineers Track tender performance, win/loss ratios, and market trends Prepare management reports and tender status updates
