We are currently seeking an experienced Project Commercial Manager to join our team and support the successful delivery of major EPC projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities Support the Commercial Manager and work closely with the Project Director, who holds primary responsibility for advising on the commercial risk elements of the project from tender stage through to final completion, ensuring adherence to client requirements. Actively participate in managing the ongoing financial aspects of the project and securing all subcontractors, ensuring subcontract terms and conditions reflect the company’s contractual obligations, in coordination with the Procurement Manager and Contracts Manager. Ensure, where applicable, that contract documents comply with company policies, including insurance requirements and the review of bonds, warranties, and guarantees. Handle technical and contract-related matters in coordination with the Technical Director(s) and Contracts Manager. Formulate commercial plans when required, identifying necessary activities to mitigate commercial risks and enhance project profitability, including value management initiatives. Prepare monthly commercial reports and updates for the Commercial Manager and project leadership. Assist the Cost Control Manager in preparing monthly project cost reports by compiling all payment- and cost-related information. Prepare and follow up on budget requests to ensure project financial requirements are met to support project development. Assist the Accounts Department and monitor cash flow forecasts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Evaluate dispute information and prepare claims for reimbursement of loss and expense. Plan and control day-to-day commercial activities of the project contract, including supervising and directing commercial staff. Assist commercial staff with the valuation of variations and the preparation of payment certificates. Develop star rates, where applicable, for the valuation of variations. Review and monitor subcontractors’ accounts to ensure compliance with subcontract agreements, including verification of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Training Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience. RICS accreditation or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) membership is required. Proven people manager with the ability to inspire, lead, and empower teams. Strong commercial orientation with the confidence, skills, and experience to identify, negotiate, and execute opportunities that generate revenue and support organisational objectives. Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities. Good knowledge of KSA local authority and regulatory requirements. Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential.
