QUANTITY SURVEYOR (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)
JOB DESCRIPTION:• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on approved drawings and materials.• Prepare Progress Interim Payment Certificates (IPC’s) including all supporting documents needed for approval. • Track various variation orders for submission and approval.• Analyze architectural and engineering drawing and specifications against BOQ to determine cost impact changes and submit revised BOQ for approval.• Evaluate subcontractor’s payment certificate.• Collaborate with design and supervision teams to ensure cost-effective construction solutions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related field.• Minimum 5 year(s) of proven experience as Quantity Surveyor.• Strong Knowledge of construction materials, methods and regulations.• Proficiency in cost estimation softwares and Microsoft Office• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills• Effective communication and negotiation skills.• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimum supervision and tight deadlines.• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage.
