Role Purpose:Build and deliver the yearly investment plan for process and utilities of up to SAR 30M to meet the needs for innovations, additional capacity, continuous improvement and asset protection.
Key Accountabilities:Build the yearly investment plan for process and utilities to meet the business needs based on:-Marketing needs for new products and additional capacity-Factory needs for continuous improvement-Needs for quality and asset protection
Ensure the right engineering design for the investment needs-Validate engineering design and specifications to meet the need requirements.-Ensure compliance of Call for tenders’ technical specifications with Danone standards and guidelines to increase equipment reliability and project success factors.-Comply designs with local standards and regulations to adhere with legal requirements.
Organize and drive internal and external resources to deliver projects-Track budget spending and e CAR submittals to adhere with the approved Capex plan.-Commit to time, cost and quality requirements to deliver business objectives.-Meet regularly with other departments to explore synergies and opportunities to optimize investments and ensure projects stakeholders’ involvement.
People Management -Distribute and assign workload to project engineers to maintain engagement -Follow-up and review the project deliverables to develop team members’ performance.-Hire, train and set the individual development plan for the team members
Policies, Processes & Procedures-Ensure Sherpa project management methodology is applied to improve project execution.-Implement and monitor engineering procedures and processes to control daily activities. Reporting-Ensure that all reports are prepared timely and accurately to convey a clear status of all on-going activities.
Safety, Quality & Environment -Comply team and contractors with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering7 to 10 years’ experience in FMCG of which minimum 5 years of proven successful project management experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a team. Experienced in masterplan design, process and utilities sizing, analysis of plant and equipment efficiency and utilization. Knowledgeable of Danone standards, specifications and guidelines Familiar with lean concepts and continuous improvement. Understands manufacturing KPIs in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Environment (SQCDME) Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft office suite especially Projects and Excel. Soft Skills: Drive for results, timely decision making, sense of urgency, delegation, conflict management, customer focus, business acumen, dealing with ambiguity, analytical skills and problem solving.
