Job Summary:
The Planner Engineer should have extensive experience in planning and scheduling major roads (highways), bridges, and infrastructure projects—preferably within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and specifically within PMC and construction supervision environments. They must possess strong expertise in time management, resource planning, and risk analysis, with a proven track record of supporting project teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies:
Demonstrated experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring using industry-standard tools such as Primavera P6 and TILOS (Time-Location Scheduling), especially for linear infrastructure projects. Proven ability to develop and manage baseline programs, monitor progress against targets, and provide early warnings on potential delays or deviations, including identification and correction of out-of-sequence activities in updated contractor schedules. Capability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants to align project schedules with actual site progress and contractual milestones, with familiarity in using platforms like Aconex for document and communication management. Experience in delay analysis and time impact assessments, supporting claims and contractual discussions when required, including use of tools such as Safran Risk (Monte Carlo) for quantitative schedule risk analysis. Strong knowledge of contract administration, including familiarity with various contract forms, and practical understanding of their implications on project planning, scheduling, and claims management. Familiarity with both prospective and retrospective Extension of Time (EOT) claims and practical experience applying time impact analysis methodologies. Strong reporting skills, including preparation of dashboards, weekly/monthly progress reports, and schedule forecasts for internal and external stakeholders, using tools such as Power BI for data visualization and performance tracking. Ability to reference and apply contractual time clauses and project documentation effectively when analyzing claims and preparing claim documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:Over 12 years’ experience with a Civil degree. Strong communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience using project management and reporting tools.
