About the Role
Providing accurate calculations of the required quantities of materials for completing projects effectively.
Responsibilities
Implementing management-specific policies and procedures. Implementing management initiatives and projects. Analyzing engineering drawings and specifications to understand the project scope. Estimating the quantities of materials required for each stage of the project. Preparing detailed quantity schedules for materials and different tasks. Updating and managing the database of used materials. Verifying the accuracy of calculations and ensuring there are no errors. Updating and developing quantity and price models based on previous experiences. Dealing with price changes or design modifications. Providing periodic reports to management on the status of quantity estimates. Collaborating with engineering and planning teams to update estimates and keep up with project developments. Verifying the alignment of completed work with estimates and plans. Providing support and advice to construction teams regarding quantities. Participating in project meetings to improve estimates and provide quantity analysis. Preparation of periodic reports on management activity. Provide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other functions in his or her competence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent. Fluent in the English language Proficiency in use of computers and its applications Communication skills2 - 5 years of experience.
