Job Purpose The job holder is responsible for managing the organization’s Business Continuity function, including proactively identifying risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring organizational resilience against internal and external threats.
Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Leadership and Strategic Accountabilities Develop Business Continuity Management (BCM) policies, procedures, and controls, and recommend continuous improvements. Develop BCM strategic and operational plans aligned with WTCO’s strategy, vision, mission, and corporate objectives. Prepare and manage the BCM budget, identifying cost‑reduction and performance‑improvement opportunities. Fulfill ESG responsibilities and ensure alignment with ESG-related initiatives. Set BCM KPIs and monitor progress toward WTCO’s strategic objectives. Identify competency and talent needs; provide recommendations for HR-related decisions. Ensure timely, accurate BCM reports that comply with organizational policies and quality standards. Delegate responsibilities and authorities to team members as needed, especially during absences.
2. Functional Accountabilities Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in BCM systems and practices, considering best practices, cost efficiency, and productivity. Ensure work is carried out efficiently and aligns with annual business plans, policies, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards across WTCO and related functions (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc.). Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution. Lead ongoing risk identification and assessment across operations to address evolving internal and external threats. Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure integrated and supported BCM and supply chain strategies. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in BCM and supply chain readiness. Establish and maintain a crisis decision‑making hierarchy to enable effective leadership during emergencies. Oversee resilience of third‑party service providers and critical processes to minimize vulnerabilities. Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, operations, and cross‑functional teams to integrate risk mitigation, data protection, and disaster recovery capabilities. Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and reporting requirements, maintaining transparency and accountability. Develop and implement BCM and supply chain training and awareness programs for employees at all levels. Implement financial risk mitigation strategies to reduce the impact of disruptions and safeguard financial stability. Lead post‑crisis reviews to evaluate response effectiveness and incorporate lessons learned into future strategies.

Job Qualifications and Requirements Knowledge and Experience Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related fields. Master’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field (preferred).
