Role The Application Subject Matter Expert (App SME) will serve as a key consultant for Active-Active application architecture, assessment, and execution. This role is responsible for designing resilient application architectures, guiding implementation, and governing execution to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness across selective applications.
Responsibilities Act as an Active-Active Assessment and Execution Consultant for assigned applications. Lead discovery and design workshops to define the Active-Active application scope. Develop and document Active-Active High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD). Own and conduct architecture reviews for selective applications. Plan and execute Active-Active implementation, including requirements for building Disaster Recovery (DR) environments. Provide governance and oversight for Active-Active execution across selective applications to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Requirements Strong experience in application architecture with a focus on Active-Active or high-availability designs. Proven expertise in conducting discovery, design, and architecture review sessions. Hands-on experience in developing HLDs and LLDs for enterprise applications. Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, execution planning, and governance. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership during execution. Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
