Job Title Senior Inventory Controller Department Supply Chain / Operations Location Saudi Arabia – Head Office(Oversight of 30+ Retail Branches & E-Commerce Platform) Reports ToSupply Chain Manager Direct Reports Inventory Controllers / Inventory Officers (if applicable) Job Purpose The Senior Inventory Controller is responsible for strategic oversight, governance, and optimization of inventory operations across all retail stores, warehouses, and the e-commerce platform. The role ensures high inventory accuracy, optimal stock availability, controlled investment, and strong system governance, while leading inventory planning, replenishment, and control in a fast-paced women’s fashion retail environment. Key Responsibilities Strategic Inventory Governance Own and govern inventory control policies, procedures, and standards across all channels. Ensure consistent inventory practices across 30+ branches, warehouses, and e-commerce. Act as the final escalation point for inventory discrepancies and complex issues. Drive inventory efficiency, stock turnover, and working capital optimization. Inventory Accuracy & Control Ensure system stock integrity in Microsoft Dynamics across all locations. Oversee cycle counts, stock takes, and reconciliation processes. Analyze shrinkage, variances, and root causes; implement corrective actions. Control inventory at SKU, style, color, and size level with high accuracy. Allocation, Replenishment & Optimization Lead initial allocation and replenishment strategies based on sales trends and store performance. Optimize inter-branch stock transfers to reduce overstock and stockouts. Support seasonal launches, promotions, markdowns, and end-of-season clearance. Monitor slow-moving and dead stock and recommend liquidation strategies. E-Commerce & Omnichannel Inventory Leadership Oversee omnichannel inventory visibility and availability. Ensure accurate stock synchronization between stores, warehouses, and online channels. Minimize e-commerce order cancellations due to inventory issues. Support ship-from-store and click-and-collect inventory models where applicable. Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support Deliver executive-level inventory dashboards and KPI reports. Analyze sell-through, stock aging, weeks of cover, and size curve performance. Provide data-driven recommendations to Buying, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory investment planning. Microsoft Dynamics Ownership Act as Super User / Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Dynamics (Inventory, Retail, Supply Chain). Define inventory workflows, controls, and system best practices. Lead system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and user training related to inventory. Ensure item master data governance and accuracy. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead and mentor inventory control team members. Coordinate closely with Store Operations, Warehouse, E-Commerce, Finance, and Merchandising teams. Support audit requirements and management reporting. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory processes. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in women’s fashion retail inventory, with at least 5 years in the same industry. Proven experience managing inventory for large multi-branch retail networks (30+ stores). Strong experience supporting e-commerce and omnichannel retail models. Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (mandatory).
