Job Summary:

To support HMG’s continuous growth ambitions, we are looking for an Executive Director of Operations.

The post holder will plan, develop and oversee the Business Improvement, QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) and Risk & Compliance Excellence related functions to enhance business operations, quality, processes and compliance across HMG to ensure efficiency and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Establish a group-wide annual and long-term departmental strategy working in conjunction with all other relevant disciplines to ensure optimal service and superior outcomes
• Develop functional plans and budgets to ensure that plans are realistic and stretching but capitalize upon commercial/operational opportunities
• Transform business operational model and improve process efficiency that impact on growth and efficiency
• Develop and implement operating standards for QHSE and quality management
• Establish and recommend appropriate controls covering all commercial and operational risks relevant to HMG business units/ projects, and keep the COO aware of potential loss to take required actions
• Instil a culture focused on continuous improvement and positive change orientation through the design and delivery of change programs and activities including coaching and mentoring, communication, workshops and trainings

Education/Professional Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Healthcare Management or related)
• MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification from an internationally recognized business school is advantageous
• 12+ years’ experience in senior operational role with reputable companies
• Fluency in Arabic and English
