Job Summary:

The Design Engineer will be responsible for the on-site architectural, electrical, and mechanical design activities specific to residential projects. This role involves ensuring that all design implementations meet residential project standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. The Site Design Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and compliant residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Responsibilities: Develop and manage architectural layouts that suit residential design standards. Oversee site architectural work to maintain quality, compliance with design, and alignment with project goals.
• Electrical Systems Oversight: Plan and supervise the design and installation of electrical systems suited to residential requirements. Ensure all systems are installed safely, meeting local residential codes and industry standards.
• Mechanical and HVAC Supervision: Implement and manage mechanical and HVAC systems that optimize residential comfort, efficiency, and safety. Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to design standards and prompt issue resolution.
• General Responsibilities Across Disciplines:
• Review technical documents, residential building codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical and mechanical engineers, and other consultants to meet project objectives.
• Conduct site inspections, ensuring quality control and compliance with residential project standards.
• Identify and resolve design challenges specific to residential projects to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and prepare regular progress updates.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met on-site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Or Electrical Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in site design engineering, with a focus on residential projects.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and experience in residential-specific design considerations.
• Strong understanding of residential building codes, safety standards, and local regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across disciplines, ensuring smooth collaboration with stakeholders.
