Port Facilities Inspector (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is currently seeking a Port Facilities Inspector for an exciting opportunity in Saudi Arabia. As a Port Facilities Inspector, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and compliance of port facilities with local and international standards. This role involves inspecting various port operations, including loading and unloading processes, equipment maintenance, and environmental safety measures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of port facilities and operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Review and assess operational procedures, equipment, and infrastructure for potential hazards and risks
  • Collaborate with port management and operations teams to implement corrective actions based on inspection findings
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection results, identifying areas for improvement and compliance issues
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and standards affecting port operations
  • Train and guide port personnel on safety practices and compliance protocols
  • Participate in safety audits and risk assessments


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Port Inspector or in a similar role within the maritime industry
  • Strong knowledge of port operations, safety regulations, and environmental standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to potential safety issues
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and software
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
