JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts. Ensures the timeliness, accuracy and quality of all financial reporting including project & Product Costing. Monitors and supports taxation issues. Supports auditors in the financial audit preparation and coordinates the audit process


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, forecasting, budgeting etc.
  • Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations.
  • Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
  • Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
  • Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
  • Responsible for timely monthly financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting.
  • Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries.
  • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams.
  • Supporting Finance Manager in ensuring that cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
  • Consultative with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls.
  • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manage


REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance. Any additions qualification like CMA or CPA is a strong plus
  • Experience: Proven experience of minimum 7 years in financial & management accounting.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing and industrial organizations. Strong knowledge of financial theory, concepts, and practices
  • Reporting Skills: Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping ensures accurate and reliable documentation.
  • Planning Abilities: Being methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities helps in managing compliance programs effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: An analytical mind is necessary to understand and navigate the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • ERP Skills: Excellent knowledge of ODOO or Oracle Net Suite
