Risk Senior Specialist

The Risk Senior Specialist will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the company's operations, assets, and reputation. This role requires a deep understanding of risk management principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex risk concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various functions and processes. Identify potential risks, evaluate their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Risk Management Framework: Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Reporting: Prepare and present detailed risk reports to senior management and the board of directors. Highlight key risk indicators and recommend actionable mitigation strategies.
  • Incident Management: Lead the investigation of risk-related incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure that lessons learned are documented and applied to future risk management practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain an effective risk management program.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate risk management practices into their operations. Provide guidance and training on risk management principles and best practices.
  • Risk Modeling: Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to model risk scenarios and evaluate the potential impact on the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve risk management processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM)) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in risk management or a related field, with a proven track record in assessing and mitigating risks.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in risk management software and tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and risk modeling techniques.
