A Snapshot of Your Day
Lead all aspects of and coordinate daily logistics activities such as timely pick-up and delivery of orders, import, export, Custom clearance, CD payments, SABER certificate issuance, maintain and updates shipments/orders reports & logistics service providers KPI's, customs visits If required.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Prepare / review related documents required for the logistics operation, such as BOL, invoices, customs documents, certificates, and interact with related stakeholders e.g. project teams, procurement and Export Control and Customs colleagues to address operations issues.
- Timely process information into our customer’s systems and keep the process running until shipment.
- Act as the interface to external logistics / transport providers / customers to ensure detailed operations and coordinate their activities seeking cost efficient and on time delivery.
- Calculate and implement logistics / transport contingency measures from the planned and future deliveries.
- Document and process claims or transport damages with responsible partners to secure any recourse claims and to take further preventive measures.
What You Bring
- Successfully completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or education.
- Basic knowledge of logistic (import – export) documentation packages.
- Excellent time-management and strong administrative skills.
- You can communicate and agree with different cultures and have a good understanding of English, both written as well as verbal.
- Considering that we work in a project organization, it is important that your work is visible for your colleagues and that you carefully align your work with the project execution team. We have multiple projects running in parallel, so you should be able to handle time pressure, act quickly, maintain the overview and structure, and set accurate priorities.
